Happy New Year

It’s that time of year for me. I am in Arizona, picking up supplies (mostly stones) for another wonderful show season as well as for my website. As far as work goes, here in the RV from now until mid-March, I will be focusing on adding earrings to my inventory, wrapping some smaller stones for pendants, and experimenting with some new techniques and designs. Oh, and of course, still leaving time for hiking, exploring, dancing, and eating BBQ!

Today is New Year’s Eve and I just made my first score in Quartzite! I picked up some Kingman Turquoise, Crazy Lace Agate, Rhodochrosite, Amethyst, Charoite, and Rainbow Moonstone.

There are many more stone sellers to visit when we leave Quartzite. We will be in Tucson for a month, and then onto Apache Junction for another month. Our journey home will bring us back to Quartzite again and maybe some last minute deals as their season will be just about over.
