Unique Handcrafted Natural Adornments for Everyone

The Earth’s Own is all about creating works of art born from the natural beauty of the earth’s elements and beyond. My son and I are both avid outdoors people as well as photographers. Living in the PNW affords us easy access to some amazing sights and we get out to capture them as often as we can, even if it involves climbing a mountain, sleeping in a car, on rocks, or a cliff.

I am also a jewelry artist. Personal adornment is a universal human behavior dating back hundreds of thousands of years. Varied pieces across every era have been used not only for beauty’s sake, but to signal identity, status, or spiritual beliefs. Gemstones are my inspiration and I create unique designs, with intention, to highlight their beauty, using raw copper, sterling silver, & rose gold-filled wire. I purposefully design works that are not limited by age or orientation boundaries and appeal to everyone. I have sold pieces to teenage boys, women in their 80’s, and everyone in between.

The Earth’s Own is not a static endeavor. It is dynamic. Photos are continually added to our inventory. Anyone interested in something other than Washington landscapes, just needs to ask. We are happy to share the depth of our image catalog with you upon request. If you find us at an art fair in Washington, we will most likely have Washington images only. Images that we have are taken by myself, Kristine, and by my son, Luke. There is a link to Luke’s website at the bottom of the page.

At each art fair, several adornment pieces sell. I continually create and add more on an ongoing basis. I take time at the beginning of each year to try new things and create new designs for the upcoming fair season. I find the SHOP section of this website very difficult to keep up to date. The GALLERY page is different, however. I photograph pendants as they are completed and will then load them into the GALLERY. Since each piece is an original, if you see something that you like that is no longer available, you can request a special order that is similar. In that case, you can even choose the stone of your liking. Be aware, no two creations are ever the same, but I will try to make them as similar as possible.
